Two Legs Sat Upon Three Legs

Big Lunch - No Willingness to Share

ECLIPSE Image Number 00170005

The dog looks quite eager with tongue out and quick movement as he moves toward the man seated upon a stool with a hefty hamper at his feet and pouring a mug of beer. The man, holding the stool in hand, chases the dog to retrieve the leg. The expression on the face of the man is one of anger, perhaps outrage, that the dog has outwitted him. The soft colors of the workshop and outdoors seem to lessen the potential violence of the scene. One wonders how a man, obviously a maker of violins, could be so very harsh with an animal.
