Two Legs Sat Upon Three Legs

Realism and Innocence - Several Frames Tell a Realistic Story

ECLIPSE Image Number 02890000

Note the breaking of frame to create movement in the overall illustration. A sense of action occurs although it seems a tad unfair for the dog to see a man sitting holding a large leg of mutton so easy to grasp. There is also the repentance portrayed when the dog returns the leg to the man. The violence is in the throwing of the stool, obviously adhering to the text quite precisely.
