This Is the House That Jack Built

Not a House but a Theory - The Rhyme with New Reason

ECLIPSE Image Number 02420000

In The Space Child’s Mother Goose, Frederick Winsor creates new scientific variants based on traditional Mother Goose rhymes. Here Jacks builds a theory, not a house; and no theory ever appeared more complicated than these images. Of course, most of the complication comes from covering the initial flaw in the theory, encouraging those of us who turn to literature rather than logic or science for truth.
