Kiss and Run - Georgie's On the Go

ECLIPSE Image Number 01510001

This image pictures the moment after Georgie's apparent kissing attack. Although the girls are crying, Georgie's appearance is more humorous than menacing. The embroidered illustrations resemble primitive art with the title character's body somewhat disproportionate, and he has a silly grin on his face. The rosy-toned background and the red, burnt orange, and brown clothing with touches of blue give this image the warmth of much traditional folk art.
