Humpty Dumpty

Who pushed Humpty? Why would the king’s men want to destroy this harmless creature?

ECLIPSE Image Number 01220001

Notice the big smile on the pusher’s face and on that of his comrade beside him. Even the horse seems pleased with Humpty’s impending demise, but poor hedgehog below shouldn’t have to share that fate. This is a very child-like image with the tops of their hats behind the wall representing a large number of the king’s men.
