Photo Gallery of the Original ECLIPSE Team

Many, many years ago when Kay was working on an 8mm filmmaking grant with elementary school children; she decided that every film, regardless of the nature of its content, needed visual credits showing the creators celebrating their work. Since the ECLIPSE team seemed to approach this project with the same enthusiasm, commitment, and joyous spirit of those young filmmakers, we wanted to share these photos with those who visit this site.

Reading the Thought Process Papers, you will notice that several team members mention that most of our meetings were feasts for the body as well as for the mind and the spirit. Many of these photos reveal that.

The team seldom met as a large group after the first year of Project ECLIPSE, the actual term of the grant that began this project. Many team members continued the work after that time; and frequent individual or small group meetings were held, often over a meal, in subsequent years. Unfortunately, the many people who volunteered for portions of this work after it was no longer funded appear only in the photos that accompany the fairy tale in the Shadow side of Mother Goose.
